Young Men Eligibility

Please note that any Deacons wishing to play with Teachers teams, must have approval from the Stake Sports Director- with the exception of the Haight Bench and Baer Creek Deacons and those already cleared by the Stake Sports Director.

No Young Men can play for both Teachers and Priests teams at the same time. If a Young Man turns 16 at some point during the Stake Sports Season, he is eligible to play for the Priests- but can no longer play with the Teachers.

The Area Stake Sports Officials reiterated that no Young Man or Woman playing for a high school team can play concurrently with his/her church team. This individual could be ruled ineligible by the UHSAA as a result of playing for a church team.
