Stake YM’s Flag Football
South Bench defeated Highlands Ward 45-14 in the Championship Game of
the Haight Creek Stake Tournament on Thursday, October the 22nd.
Both teams will advance to the Coordinating Council (Region)
Tournament, along with the Oak Hollow Ward.
Our 3rd annual Kaysville/Fruit
Heights Coordinating Council Young Men's Flag Football Tournament is scheduled
to be held on the morning of Saturday, October 31st (yes, Halloween)
starting at 8:00 a.m. ~ 1:00 p.m (or until done).
We will play at the Gardens
Chapel (550 South 50 West) on the Frontage Road across from the USU Botanical
Gardens.
Those that will be participating
in the tournament will be required to attend the pre-tournament Coaches (of
teams involved) / Stake Athletic Directors meeting: Sunday, October
25th at 7:00 p.m. at Haight Creek Stake Center (1520 Fox Pointe Drive,
Kaysville, UT) in the Relief Society Room.
At this meeting, rosters for
teams involved will be collected. Please make sure they are complete with Bishop's
signature, Stake AD's signature and parent's signature. It is mandatory that
the rosters are signed with date of birth and player and parent signatures, or
YM will NOT be eligible to play. As always, YM playing football for any high
school team in any capacity (yes, even Sophomore/JV teams) are ineligible to
play.
